Shonte is PMP certified, has earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in criminal justice, and leverages a unique perspective gained from nearly 30 years as a senior leader for state and local governments. Throughout her private sector experience with global tech companies, including an executive government advisor and senior director of state and local government strategy at Amazon Web Services and DocuSign respectively, she developed government contracting and sales growth strategies that delivered results.
Shonte is known in the industry for her deep and broad expertise in state and local government operations and energetic and relatable approach to strategy development and sales enablement. She was also named one of the 25 women to watch by the Baltimore Sun newspaper and magazine in 2020.
